How we use your data

Photographs obtained from Facebook or Instagram accounts
When you login via your Facebook or Instagram account, you can choose to upload a limited number of your most recently posted photos for Style Sketch to (i) suggest your preferred styles and (ii) identify clothing items that may be added to your Style Sketch closet. The photos we access are selected by recency, and clothing worn by other adults may also be identified in this process. Uploading your Facebook or Instagram photos is optional and you may instead add photos of yourself manually.
Avatar generation
Avatars are generated automatically from your profile photo or live selfie upload. You may replace it at any time by uploading your own photo directly to the app. Because we cannot determine which face in a photo is yours, you are required to confirm, before uploading, that the photo depicts you and not another person. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit each photo you select.
Regenerating or deleting your avatar
You may regenerate your avatar at any time, including by selecting a different photo, in which case your prior avatar is replaced. You may also delete your avatar at any time. Deleting your avatar removes the avatar and the data generated from the photo used to create it.
Closet generation
We analyze recently uploaded photos in order to identify adult clothing items that may correspond to garments you own. Because we cannot determine which items in a photo belong to you, identified items are presented to you as suggestions only, and no item is added to your closet unless you select it.
Editing or deleting closet items
You may add, edit, or remove individual items from your closet at any time. You may also delete your closet in its entirety, which removes the items and the meta data associated with the items.
Location and weather
Where the product suggests outfits based on weather conditions, weather is determined by the city you provide. If you do not provide a city, we infer your approximate city from your IP address. We do not collect or use GPS or precise latitude and longitude location data for this purpose.
